I've heard from a number of people that they are doing the 21 with us!  Just know you're not alone, we're walking across this bridge together!!!

Dusty, Seeing as my reading has been Matthew it brought to mind salt and light. What good is the salt without it's flavor. Would this be a first step down the slippery slope and opening the door to just a little won't hurt. Who shall we please man or God. We want to be that light. This coming from me who allowed myself a caramel, vanilla latte blended instead of the water and tea as part of my 21 challenge. Love the videos keep up the good work! Marsha

Interesting dilemma, brings to mind both of these opposing versus Romans 14:21 NIV
"It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother to fall." and 1 Corinthians 9:19 "Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. "

I think those are the situations where you really need to try and listen to the Holy Spirits promptings. If your conscience is telling you no, then it is probably the time to make a stand.

I agree it should be a prompting of your conscience by the Holy Spirit. He will lead us all if we will listen. I guess it depends on the reason we make the choice, what is our leading? Are we yielding to God or self?(flesh)Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?KJV Jeremy had two very good verses to chew on. Good stuff.........the Word. It also brings another question to mind does the word ever oppose itself? One last thing of interest from my devotional by Oswald Chambers..My Utmost for His Highest, this paragraph hit me "When God through His sovereignty brings us into new situations, we should immediately make sure that our natural life submits to the spiritual, obeying the order of the Spirit of God. Just because we have responded properly in the past is no guarantee that we will do so again" Reference verse Matthew 18:3 God Bless -40 windchill here last night. brrrrrrrr

Jeremy, I live in the beautiful, frigid, frozen tundra of Northern Wisconsin. That is where I met Dusty and Tammi and miss them tremendously. Believe me the thought has crossed my mind of Meridian, we own a business here........a car dealership not the best thing to be in right now but God continues to provide. I work at UPS and that has slowed also. I am on my 28th yr I think. I am praying for God to lead us to where He wants Mike and I to be,nothing yet so that to me means wait. I enjoy your blog comments and questions it shows a searching heart for God's wisdom. God is good and faithful all the time. God bless
